Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our corporate accounting function. In this high‑visibility position you will partner directly with executive management to ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support the company’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function, including general ledger, month‑end and year‑end close, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage multi‑entity consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting procedures.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning, and financial analysis.
• Lead the annual audit process and act as primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with evolving standards.
• Drive process‑improvement, automation, and ERP system enhancements.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing month‑end close, consolidations, and multi‑entity accounting.
• Public‑accounting background (Big Four or national firm) is a plus.
• Proven ability to build scalable accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and business‑partnering skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
