Financial Controller

About the role

ShipIn is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to own its accounting operations, financial reporting, and control environment. This hands‑on position will support the company’s rapid global growth by managing day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end close, and consolidation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close, delivering accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Manage multicurrency consolidations and inter‑company accounting across global entities.
• Oversee accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, supporting schedules and revenue‑recognition processes.
• Review journal entries, coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors.
• Develop and improve internal controls, accounting policies and reporting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable regulations.
• Support payroll, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and key accounting metrics.
• Scale finance processes, automation and operational infrastructure.

Required profile

• CPA qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Audit background, preferably from a Big 4 firm.
• Strong hands‑on experience with monthly close processes.
• Experience in SaaS or technology companies.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP.
