Financial Controller

About the role

The community healthcare facility is seeking a Financial Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations. This position reports directly to senior leadership and plays a critical role in ensuring fiscal integrity and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets, and monthly/annual financial reviews.
• Prepare required state financial reports and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations.
• Implement internal controls, coordinate audits, and monitor financial performance.
• Collaborate with the CEO, hospital leadership, regional teams, and corporate office to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in governing body committees and partnership boards as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of healthcare finance experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
