Financial Analyst – I3R

About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks a Financial Analyst for the I3R project to support budget and financial analysis activities. This fixed‑term position will work within the university’s finance team, contributing to data‑driven decision‑making and ensuring fiscal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for the I3R project.
• Assist in the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor expenditures, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with department heads and external partners to gather financial data.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, grant requirements, and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in budget preparation, financial analysis, or grant administration preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
