Financial Analyst I

About the role

Ferrara/KME, a leading manufacturer of fire trucks and emergency response vehicles, is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support the Controller and the Finance/Accounting department. The role involves hands‑on financial analysis, forecasting and modeling to help drive strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting and modeling to assess business performance and investment opportunities.
• Prepare reports, presentations and projections for senior management.
• Evaluate current and historical financial data to determine company value and investment potential.
• Study business, industry and economic trends to inform strategic planning.
• Assist with budgeting, variance analysis and financial planning processes.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and provide recommendations for portfolios or individual investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of automated accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and complete month‑end and year‑end journal entries.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced setting.
• Computer literacy with general accounting systems knowledge.
• Mathematical competence required for accurate job performance.
