Financial Analyst – HVAC/R Distribution

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to act as a financial business partner for Boreal International, a Watsco subsidiary that distributes HVAC/R products across Latin America and the Caribbean. The role supports Boreal’s financial operations and strategy while aligning with Gemaire’s shared services finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, prepare and present financial statements, journal entries and reconciliations using the OneStream consolidation platform.
• Develop margin analysis by product line, geography and customer segment; monitor inventory trends and turnover.
• Perform variance analysis of forecasts versus actuals and recommend operational actions.
• Create ad‑hoc financial models and build dashboards to support management decisions.
• Collaborate on CPM platform enhancements and adapt budgeting and forecasting tools for Boreal’s business model.
• Participate in planning and forecasting cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Must be located locally in Doral, Florida.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting systems, specifically OneStream.
