Financial Analyst, FP&A

About the role

The Financial Analyst, FP&A will provide critical financial analysis to support organization‑wide budgeting, revenue forecasting, and donor reporting. Working remotely, the analyst will help ensure financial compliance and cost‑recovery across multiple global programs.

Key responsibilities

• Support donor budgeting and financial reporting, reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, fee structures, and compliance.
• Create and maintain award budgeting and reporting templates aligned with donor and Ipas requirements.
• Contribute to the annual operating budget process by consolidating budgets, providing analysis, and identifying trends.
• Monitor financial trends, prepare regular analyses, and recommend improvements for cost‑effectiveness.
• Identify and escalate financial compliance or ERP issues for timely resolution.
• Upload and maintain donor‑approved budgets for projects and awards in Workday.
• Develop financial capacity‑strengthening guidance, tools, and training materials for global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in a financial role.
• Ability to understand programmatic implications of financial decisions and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working with donor‑funded programs and adhering to compliance standards.
