Financial Analyst, Capital & Building Services

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Financial Analyst for its Capital & Building Services function. The position supports the preparation of economic and financial analyses and forecasts used in developing financial business decisions. It reports to a Senior Financial Analyst, has no direct reports and typically involves little overnight travel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform economic and financial research and analyse internal and external issues related to sales, gross margin, rate of return, working capital, investment, financial performance and other financial metrics.
• Compile or prepare reports, graphs and charts of developed data.
• Conduct special financial and statistical studies as directed, in coordination with other departments.
• Gather and correlate basic information using established financial procedures.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred: a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Preferred: three years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Preferred: ability to influence others, consider many options and solve problems, with periodic checks on progress.
