Financial Analyst – Bank Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to own and lead bank‑specific regulatory reporting as the company expands its banking operations. You will become the subject‑matter expert for all bank regulatory filings and work closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end preparation and filing of bank regulatory reports, including FFIEC Call Reports (031/041/051) and other filings with the OCC, FDIC, and applicable regulators.
• Build and maintain the regulatory reporting framework, including calendars, data‑sourcing workflows, reconciliation procedures, and internal controls.
• Interpret and apply regulatory instructions (FFIEC, OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve) to Sezzle’s BNPL‑related assets, liabilities, income, and capital.
• Monitor regulatory changes, update schedules, thresholds, and guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to source data and ensure consistency with GAAP financial statements.
• Support regulatory examinations and audits, providing documentation and responding to examiner inquiries.
• Partner with external auditors and consultants on regulatory reporting matters.

Required profile

• Experience in bank regulatory reporting and familiarity with FFIEC Call Reports.
• Strong understanding of OCC, FDIC, and Federal Reserve reporting requirements.
• Ability to develop processes, controls, and infrastructure for scalable reporting.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams.
