Financial Analyst 2 – Full‑time

About the role

The University of Miami’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full‑time Financial Analyst 2 to support Auxiliary Services. The analyst will compile, analyze, and present financial data to aid strategic decision‑making and operational planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate documentation for budgets, forecasts, expense performance, and financial presentations.
• Identify trends in competitive environments and deliver concise findings.
• Provide analytical support for forward‑looking financial projects and business initiatives.
• Perform financial forecasting, account reconciliation, and monthly close activities.
• Design and maintain financial models, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Resolve reporting issues and liaise with vendors to ensure contract compliance.
• Support the Director of Finance and senior analysts with accounting and reporting functions.
