Financial Analyst 1 – Full‑time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Central Business Office is seeking a full‑time Financial Analyst 1 to support its finance operations in Miami, FL. The analyst will compile, analyze, and present financial data to aid management decision‑making and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate documentation for budgets, forecasts, projections, expense performance and presentations.
• Identify trends in competitive environments and present findings.
• Provide analytical support for forward‑looking financial and business projects.
• Perform financial forecasting and account reconciliations.
• Design and build models summarizing growth and expansion scenarios.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards, models, and analyses.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze relevant data and metrics.
• Develop and maintain reports that support business decisions, operational changes, and strategic plans.
• Resolve reporting issues and recommend policy improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
• Proficient with office software and relevant computer applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
