About the role
This on‑campus Federal Work‑Study position supports the Financial Aid Department at Columbus Technical College. Working under the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, you will gain hands‑on experience with student financial aid processes while providing essential clerical support.
Key responsibilities
- Perform accounting‑related clerical duties and data entry.
- Review financial aid Banner screens and related documents.
- Provide courteous service to students, parents, faculty, and the public via telephone and in person.
- Answer phones, handle routine inquiries, and assist with general office tasks.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled as a student at Columbus Technical College.
- Completed FAFSA and identified as eligible for federal aid.
- Submitted a Federal Work‑Study Employment Application.
Required skills
- Familiarity with the Banner financial aid system.
