Financial Aid Analyst

About the role

The Financial Aid Analyst supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Financial Aid Office at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope‑Texarkana. Working under the Financial Aid Associate Director, the analyst assists in administering federal, state, and institutional aid programs for a diverse undergraduate student body.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily tasks of the Financial Aid Office, including processing student applications and disbursements.
• Assist in the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to students regarding aid eligibility, requirements, and award processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in a student‑service or higher‑education environment is preferred.
