Financial Advisor

About the role

NYLIFE Securities LLC is seeking a full-time Financial Advisor to join its Lafayette, LA office. The advisor will work directly with clients to understand their financial objectives, evaluate their current situation, and design personalized investment, retirement and wealth-management strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to assess goals, risk tolerance and financial needs.
• Develop comprehensive financial plans and recommend suitable investment products.
• Monitor and review client portfolios regularly, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Educate clients on market trends, financial products and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investments and retirement planning.
• Ability to obtain required securities and insurance licenses within a defined timeframe.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Analytical, organized and detail‑oriented with high ethical standards.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, financial planning tools and standard office software.
