Financial Accountant – US Operations

About the role

EMR is seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to support the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of its financial reporting across the United States. You will act as a trusted business partner, helping to close the books, maintain internal controls, and ensure audit readiness in a fast‑moving metal recycling environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support all phases of the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close process, including journal entries, variance analysis, and roll‑forwards (accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, revenue).
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring full documentation and support.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and perform intercompany eliminations across multiple entities.
• Maintain and enhance internal control documentation, process narratives, and control procedures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries.
