Finance Manager / Site Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager / Site Controller to lead the finance function for our U.S. manufacturing site in Toledo, Ohio. You will own the full finance agenda, working closely with local leadership and the European headquarters to ensure transparent reporting and robust controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage P&L, monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital for the U.S. site.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including job/project costing, margin and variance analysis.
• Lead a small local finance team and act as the primary liaison with the European HQ on reporting, planning and governance.
• Coordinate light HR activities at site level such as payroll, benefits, onboarding and documentation, in partnership with internal and external providers.
• Develop and implement scalable finance structures to support the next stage of growth.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven end‑to‑end ownership of close, forecast, reporting, cash flow and working capital processes.
• Strong background in cost accounting and margin analysis.
• Experience with international group reporting or an overseas headquarters is a plus.
• Hands‑on, structured approach and confident communication across U.S. and European teams.
