Finance Manager

About the role

PALFINGER is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting and analysis for its New Iberia, LA location. The role will provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial transparency and strategic insights to senior leadership across regions and business units.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning processes in line with corporate guidelines.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive process optimisation.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, act as signing authority and strengthen internal controls.
• Oversee accounting, tax and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy under local GAAP, IFRS and audit requirements.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT) and act as liaison between global and local entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or graduate degree preferred).
• 10+ years of leadership experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A or Controllership.
• Strong expertise in accounting standards, financial statement preparation and international accounting requirements.
• Proven experience in corporate budgeting, cost management and tax planning.
• Leadership experience in Human Resources management and cross‑functional team oversight.
• Fluent English; intermediate Spanish preferred.
