Finance Manager – Business Modernization Program

About the role

The Finance Manager for the Business Modernization Program will ensure accurate financial design and strong controls throughout the project lifecycle. Based onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive cost and schedule performance while providing insightful analysis for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the finance business partner for ERP implementation, managing cost, schedule, and financial accountability.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reporting, and variance analysis for the ERP program.
• Develop KPIs, set targets, and build analytical dashboards to monitor financial performance.
• Prepare financial forecasts and scenario models to predict trends and support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with the PMO Manager to align scope, schedule, resources, and financial plans.
• Support budgeting, business case development, NPV evaluation, and continuous process improvement.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and streamline manual processes through automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance roles supporting ERP implementations or large‑scale modernization projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
