Finance Controller – Luxury Champagne JV

About the role

Armand de Brignac, the iconic luxury champagne brand, is seeking a Finance Controller to ensure accurate valuation of assets and liabilities for its joint‑venture with LVMH. Based in New York, you will work three days a week on‑site, partnering with the MHUSA back‑office and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and treasury functions.
• Plan and execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and present financial statements to the Joint Venture Board, LVMH and MHUSA.
• Reconcile SAP data with LVMH reporting tools and support FP&A budgeting cycles.
• Build cash forecasts, analyse cash‑flow movements and manage bank relationships.
• Oversee monthly inventory reconciliation, physical counts and write‑offs of obsolete stock.
• Drive process improvements, automation and control enhancements across finance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS compliance.
• Experience with LVMH or similar luxury‑goods finance environments.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle accounting and treasury operations.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate financial information to leadership.
