Finance Analyst III

About the role

The Financial Analyst III supports a portfolio of global health projects, including the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) initiative funded by the U.S. Government. The role coordinates financial operations, monitors budgets, and ensures compliance with donor requirements across multiple country programs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate financial monitoring and provide guidance to country offices for projects with annual budgets ranging from $1‑20 M.
• Develop and update cost‑to‑complete analyses and budget forecasts for multiple country programs.
• Manage sub‑awards, assess partner capacity, and monitor budgets and expenditures.
• Provide on‑site and remote financial technical assistance, including procurement and compliance guidance.
• Process invoices, consultant fees, vendor payments, and travel expense reports.
• Analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and produce reports for donors.
• Use financial systems to create reports, financial models, and databases while ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Document complex issues and act as a trusted advisor to management.

Required profile

• Advanced‑level financial analyst with subject‑matter expertise in donor‑funded projects.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and lead teams on complex financial issues.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting federal and state statutes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Financial modeling and budget analysis.
