Field Service Technician

About the role

Synergy ECP is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide expert on‑site technical support for its cybersecurity and IT solutions. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining complex hardware and network systems at government and commercial facilities across the United States and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians.
• Offer technical advice on installation, adaptation, configuration, and enhancement of company products and systems.
• Test, train, and field support customers on designated systems and services.
• Maintain network stability through advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and proactive maintenance.
• Install and integrate servers, network hardware, scanners, printers, and other computer systems into data‑center racks and existing facilities.
• Conduct system and network configuration reviews to ensure successful production implementation.
• Partner with developers and engineers to reduce recurring incidents and provide off‑hours consultative assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel 50 % or more, both CONUS and OCONUS, to government facilities.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
• Experience delivering expert and second‑tier technical support for complex systems.
