Field Service Technician – EUC Field Services Engineer L2

About the role

The EUC Field Services Engineer L2 provides on‑site technical support for end‑user computing devices, ensuring hardware and software operate smoothly across the organization. You will work directly with users to resolve issues, deploy new equipment, and maintain system compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level support for desktops, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, application errors, network connectivity and system configuration problems.
• Assist in rollout, configuration and compatibility testing of new devices.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates and security patching.
• Install and configure operating systems, software applications and security tools.
• Communicate clearly with end‑users, offering guidance, education and documentation.
• Create knowledge‑base articles and guides for common issues.

Required profile

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software on Windows, macOS and Ubuntu platforms.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, VPNs and other enterprise‑level tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident and problem management.
• Familiarity with imaging tools, remote support utilities and ticketing systems.
