Field Service Tech (Windows & Doors)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to oversee field operations for window and door replacement roof projects. The technician acts as the primary liaison between homeowners, installers, and the sales team to ensure timely project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Meet installers at job sites, introduce them to customers, review the installation process, discuss issues, verify sizes and set expectations.
• Assist contractors and installers on‑site, follow the recovery process, and handle inventory inspection of delivered products.
• Troubleshoot installation problems, report findings to the Installation Manager and Sales Representatives, and perform minor service repairs.
• Complete all required reporting accurately and on time, and conduct at least one walkthrough per project.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Building or contractor knowledge is helpful.
• Strong organizational, social and customer‑focus abilities.
• Outgoing, highly motivated personality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lift products as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
