Field Service Representative

About the role

Airbus is looking for a Field Service Representative to act as the technical bridge between our engineering teams and airline customers in the United States. You will be embedded on‑site at an airline location, providing real‑time expertise to ensure safe, economical, and world‑class aircraft operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical advice and transfer know‑how to customer engineering and maintenance departments during Entry Into Service of new aircraft types.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving aircraft technical problems, including AOG situations.
• Coordinate working hours with flight schedules for limited periods as aircraft maturity requires.
• Support the implementation of maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Potentially relocate to different customer sites based on Airbus needs.

Required profile

• Seasoned aircraft engineer or licensed maintenance professional.
• Proven experience working on commercial aircraft in an operational environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site and relocate if required.
• Ability to perform under high pressure and maintain technical accuracy.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance processes.
• Expertise in AOG troubleshooting and resolution.
• Familiarity with Entry Into Service (EIS) procedures.
