Field Service Professional/Electrician – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional/Electrician, where technical expertise meets sales opportunity. You will install cutting‑edge smart home technology in customers’ homes and proactively recommend upgrades that enhance safety, convenience, and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices.
• Maintain tools, company‑provided tablet, and vehicle while adhering to safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the organization.

Required profile

• Valid ES‑3J electrician license for New Mexico.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales (preferred).
• Customer‑first attitude and ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn smart‑home technologies.
