Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional in Santa Maria, CA. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart‑home equipment while helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home‑automation systems at customer residences.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service upgrades.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service sales is a plus.
• Reliability, integrity, and a willingness to learn technical and sales skills.
