Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology for customers in Kearney, NE. You will combine technical installation skills with on‑site sales to deliver safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgraded equipment or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for security and convenience.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Comfortable working independently in a field environment and managing a daily schedule.
• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude from backgrounds such as cable/satellite installation, construction, or solar is helpful.
