Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart‑home technology for residential customers. You will combine technical installation skills with consultative sales to deliver safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation devices in residential settings.
• Assess customers’ homes and recommend upgrades or additional smart‑home solutions.
• Provide on‑site training to homeowners on system operation and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused attitude with ability to build rapport.
• Comfortable working independently in a field‑service environment.
• Willingness to learn and sell smart‑home technology.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and configuration of smart locks.
• Setup and integration of home automation systems.
