Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s field team to install cutting‑edge smart home technology while helping customers enhance safety and convenience. As a Field Service Professional you will combine technical expertise with a consultative sales approach, delivering complete smart home solutions to residential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation devices in residential settings.
• Assess customers' homes and recommend upgrades or additional services to enhance safety and convenience.
• Provide on‑site training to homeowners on the operation of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical installation skills; prior experience in cable/satellite, construction, pest control or solar is beneficial.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and configuration of smart locks.
• Setup and integration of home automation systems.
