Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the face of the company delivering cutting‑edge smart home technology to residential customers. You will combine technical installation expertise with consultative sales to ensure homes are safer, smarter, and more connected.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for security and convenience.
• Drive to appointments using a company‑provided vehicle, clocking in from your driveway.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing coaching and leadership training.
