Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology while offering customers tailored upgrades for a safer, more connected home.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems at residential locations.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements to increase security and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, ensuring they feel confident using their new technology.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar work is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing coaching and leadership training.
