Field Service Professional – Smart Home Solutions

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s growing team in Lubbock, TX, as a Field Service Professional. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and helping customers protect and automate their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems at residential locations.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services that enhance safety and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, ensuring they feel confident using their new technology.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication and rapport‑building skills.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical skills on the job; prior experience in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control or solar is helpful but not required.
