Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installations

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology while helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential settings.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service upgrades that enhance safety and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, ensuring they feel confident using their new technology.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and sales activities.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.

Required profile

• Strong sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar work is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑growing smart‑home environment.
