Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installations

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in connected home technology, as a Field Service Professional. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart home devices and helping customers upgrade to more secure, convenient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems at residential locations.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service upgrades that enhance safety and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, ensuring they feel confident using their new technology.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment and manage a daily schedule.
• Interest in both technical installation and consultative sales.

Required skills

• Experience with security cameras installation.
• Familiarity with smart lock setup and configuration.
• Knowledge of home automation system integration.
