Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join the Vivint Smart Home team as a Field Service Professional, where you will combine technical expertise with a consultative sales approach to deliver cutting‑edge smart home solutions. You will be the face of the brand, installing equipment in customers’ homes while identifying opportunities to enhance their safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess each residence on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services that meet customer needs.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, ensuring they feel confident using their new technology.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, sales, and service calls.
• Collaborate with team leaders for ongoing coaching and career development.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable driving a company‑provided vehicle to appointments.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a national organization.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and configuration of smart locks.
• Setup and integration of home automation systems.
