Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join the Smart Home team as a Field Service Professional, the face of Vivint Smart Home. You will install cutting‑edge smart home technology, educate customers, and identify opportunities to sell upgraded solutions that enhance safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems at customer residences.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Provide hands‑on training to homeowners so they can confidently use their new smart home system.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the organization.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – prior experience in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations.
