Field Sales Representative – Waco, TX

About the role

The Field Sales Representative owns and delivers sales for an assigned territory by building relationships with store managers and retail staff. The focus is on driving overall value of retail (VOR) through sales, displays, new items and core distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Sell incremental volume for displays and secure maximum support for promoted products.
• Collaborate with store‑level and district‑level retail operations to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
• Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines and report competitive price changes.
• Identify and correct voids, ensure new items are available, and resolve out‑of‑stock issues.
• Merchandise products to achieve schematic compliance, pack out shelves, rotate inventory, and handle unsellable items.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with department and store personnel to maximize sales results.
• Communicate market insights from the retail level to management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience with CPG products preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Strong oral and written communication, selling and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and travel as needed.
