Field Sales Representative – Redding, CA

About the role

The Field Sales Representative owns and delivers sales for their overall territory by developing relationships with store managers and other retail personnel to achieve short‑ and long‑term performance objectives. This position covers the Redding, CA territory and requires the candidate to reside within 50 miles of Redding.

Key responsibilities

• Sell incremental volume for displays, promotional surveys and additional products based on observed opportunities.
• Collaborate with store‑level and district‑level retail operations to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
• Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines, report competitive price changes and resolve pricing issues.
• Merchandise products to achieve schematic compliance, manage shelf stock, rotate products and address out‑of‑stock situations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with department and store personnel to maximize sales results.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience with CPG products preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and willingness to travel frequently.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
