Field Sales Representative – Fluid Control & Filtration

About the role

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a SunSource company, distributes fluid control, filtration and handling products to a broad range of industrial customers. This position manages a sales territory in Tampa, FL and surrounding markets, focusing on outside sales and account management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deepen relationships with key existing customers.
• Identify and sell to new prospects from referrals, current clients and other sources.
• Provide product education, assist in product selection and deliver training to customers.
• Submit a weekly sales call plan to the Regional Sales Manager, targeting at least five calls per day.
• Document all customer contacts and sales activities in ACS at least three times per week.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales, the RSM and other team members on territory strategy and problem resolution.
• Continuously improve product knowledge, sales skills and market/application expertise.

Required profile

• 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of field/outside sales and account management experience.
• Prior experience in industrial sales of fluid control, filtration or handling products is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and quick learner.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic mathematics aptitude (decimals, fractions, algebra).
• Mechanical aptitude.
