Field Operations Manager

About the role

High Country Fence is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead multiple fence installation projects across the region. You will ensure projects run safely, efficiently, and within budget while supporting a collaborative, outdoor‑focused work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of field projects, enforcing safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices to improve performance and profitability.
• Coordinate with field and office leadership to maintain schedule discipline and accountability.
• Work closely with the Director of Field Operations and project managers to align field crews, foremen, and schedules.
• Manage logistics for materials, equipment, and workforce, and track production, expenses, and forecasts.
• Conduct utility locates, handle pre‑construction planning, and support bidding and scheduling.
• Communicate regularly with client site managers and internal teams regarding progress and on‑site issues.
• Ensure quality control, project close‑outs, and adherence to specifications and budgets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing field crews and construction projects.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with both field and office teams to drive results.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
