Field Mechanic II

About the role

We are looking for a Field Mechanic II to ensure the safe, efficient and continuous operation of all mechanical equipment on drilling rigs within the assigned district. The role involves hands‑on installation, repair and troubleshooting of key rig systems while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the efficient and continual functioning of mechanical equipment on drilling rigs.
• Install, repair and troubleshoot a variety of mechanical systems, including mud pumps, top drives and TM‑80 units.
• Provide on‑site support to all rigs in the designated district, responding promptly to breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate service records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Proven ability to keep mechanical equipment on drilling rigs operating safely and efficiently.
• Experience working on multiple rigs within a district and delivering timely technical support.
• Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance.
