Field Manager, RCT/Evaluation

About the role

Swing Left’s Ground Truth program is launching a randomized controlled trial (RCT) in Texas to test voter‑contact scripts. The Field Manager will blend field organizing with rigorous experimental management, traveling across Texas to train volunteers, run canvasses, and ensure the trial follows protocol.

Key responsibilities

• Train volunteers in large‑group and one‑on‑one settings, providing tech support and answering questions.
• Coach volunteers on door‑to‑door conversations and accurate data entry, participating in an on‑call rotation.
• Lead in‑person and virtual canvass debriefs, reviewing qualitative and quantitative data in real time.
• Manage day‑to‑day coordination with partner staff, overseeing treatment/control group logistics.
• Maintain fidelity to the experimental protocol and monitor data integrity throughout the trial.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel frequently across Texas and work in hybrid settings.
• Strong communication skills for volunteer training and coaching.
• Ability to manage project timelines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail to ensure experimental rigor and data quality.
