Field Inspector

About the role

Premier Roofing is looking for a Field Inspector to conduct residential property inspections, document storm‑related damage, and provide a high‑quality customer experience throughout the insurance restoration process. You will be the primary on‑site representative for homeowners and will work closely with sales, claims, estimating, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform exterior residential inspections following company standards and capture photos, measurements, and detailed notes.
• Identify and accurately document storm‑related damage for insurance carriers.
• Complete inspection reports in real time using company technology platforms.
• Educate homeowners on the restoration process, set expectations, and address concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with centralized teams to ensure timely completion of inspections and adherence to service level agreements.
• During low inspection periods, support production activities such as pre‑build reviews, quality‑assurance visits, final walkthroughs, and project closeout.
• Travel extensively, including overnight assignments, to support catastrophe response and operational needs across service markets.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and able to produce accurate documentation.
• Comfortable using mobile technology in the field.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production managers, claims, and sales teams.
