Field Deployment Engineer

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a highly ambitious engineer to own end‑to‑end field deployments of its autonomous‑systems product lines at customer sites. You will lead integrations from initial setup through steady‑state operations, directly influencing the adoption of safe, AI‑driven machines worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate Applied’s hardware and software solutions at customer locations, ensuring operational readiness.
• Partner with customer operations leadership and frontline teams to define roles, decision paths, and daily procedures.
• Translate safety philosophy into site‑specific procedures, training, and go/no‑go criteria.
• Serve as the on‑site technical escalation point: triage issues, collect logs/telemetry, reproduce problems, and coordinate fixes with engineering.
• Monitor deployment health metrics (uptime, latency, intervention rates) and drive continuous improvement with customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background with a passion for customer success and safety‑critical systems.
• Willingness to relocate multiple times per year, including a target location in Australia for most of 2026.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams and customers.
