Fiduciary Tax Advisor

About the role

Glenmede is seeking a Fiduciary Tax Advisor to join its Private Wealth team in Philadelphia. The role supports outsourced preparation of trust tax returns, reviews filings, and provides fiduciary tax guidance to clients in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review federal and state fiduciary income tax returns for a variety of trust entities.
• Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external outsource providers.
• Assist with trust document analysis to determine filing requirements.
• Review and adjust reporting of investment account transactions, including additions, distributions, and complex activities.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting trusts and communicate updates internally and externally.
• Provide proactive tax planning advice, including year‑end and 65‑day election planning, tax estimates, and client inquiries.
• Handle tax authority notices on behalf of trust entities.
• Participate in special projects, identify process improvements, and develop knowledge of tax policies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three to five years of experience in taxation and reporting of trusts.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
