Fiber & Wireless Installer

About the role

Stimulus Technologies is looking for a dependable Fiber & Wireless Installer to join its field team. You will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic and wireless communication systems while providing basic IT and network support for our ISP services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with basic fiber installation, termination, and testing using power meters and related tools.
• Install and configure wireless backhaul, point‑to‑point and point‑to‑multipoint systems, and troubleshoot signal or interference issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other network devices, supporting LAN/WAN and IP connectivity.
• Climb telecommunications towers (200‑500+ ft) to install, align, and maintain antennas, radios, microwave dishes, LTE/5G equipment, and cabling.
• Perform cable installation, grounding, weather‑proofing, and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, routers, and switches.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check.
