About the role
This Federal Work‑Study position supports the Air Conditioning Technology laboratory at Southern Regional Technical College. Working under faculty supervision, you will help maintain a safe, organized learning environment for students pursuing HVAC certification.
Key responsibilities
- Organize, prepare, and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies used in the Air Conditioning Technology lab.
- Assist with routine lab setup, cleanup, inventory management, and safety checks.
- Support faculty by handling lab‑related tasks and ensuring resources are readily available.
- Maintain professional boundaries with students and uphold college policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance the lab’s effectiveness.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated financial need and enrollment at Southern Regional Technical College.
- Current enrollment in the Air Conditioning Technology program.
- Satisfactory academic progress for Federal Student Aid.
Required skills
- Computer operation and familiarity with job‑related software programs.
