About the role
This Federal Work‑Study position supports the science laboratories at Columbus Technical College. The student will work under general supervision to ensure labs run smoothly for courses in chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, biology, and microbiology.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and taking down laboratory models and equipment for various science courses.
- Wash, sterilize, and store glassware and other lab tools.
- Prepare and clean laboratory workspaces before and after classes.
- Support instructors by providing materials and assistance during lab sessions.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled as a student at Columbus Technical College.
- Completed FAFSA and identified as eligible for Federal Work‑Study.
- Submitted a Federal Work‑Study Employment Application.
