About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our rural community health center in Seward, Alaska. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care to individuals of all ages, with an emphasis on family medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
- Perform physical examinations and provide preventive care services.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Oversee program initiatives and conduct community outreach activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree and current Alaska Nurse Practitioner license.
- Minimum five years of primary‑care experience, including at least three years in a rural setting.
- Demonstrated experience in women’s health and pediatrics is preferred.
- Ability to meet all state licensure requirements.
