Family Medicine Physician (BC/BE) – Full-Time

About the role

CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic is seeking a board‑certified/board‑eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a physician‑led, faith‑based practice in Athens, Texas. The position offers a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm) in a newly expanded clinic with state‑of‑the‑art imaging, laboratory, and an on‑site emergency department.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary care to an established panel of 18‑20 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a team of three physicians, four nurse practitioners, and specialty providers in cardiology, orthopedics, vascular, pain management, podiatry, endocrinology, and sleep medicine.
• Utilize AI‑integrated tools to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.
• Document all encounters in Epic EMR for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in community‑focused health initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Willingness to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm.
• Comfort with a patient volume of 18‑20 per day.
• Commitment to a physician‑led, faith‑based care model.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR.
